Always see the item in person before paying. For cars: ask for the istimara (registration), test-drive, take it to a trusted workshop for a 30-minute inspection. For phones and laptops: power on, check IMEI/serial against the box, factory-reset to confirm no carrier lock.

Advance payment scams: seller asks for bank transfer before shipping then disappears. Overpayment scam: buyer "accidentally" sends extra and asks for a refund, the original payment is fake. Off-platform contact: seller tries to move you to WhatsApp early to bypass our protection. Report these immediately.

Look for the blue verified badge on profiles, it means we've confirmed the user's phone, and for businesses, their commercial registration. Verified accounts have a much lower fraud rate.
